Jetty Park: Recreational port of call

Jetty Park, Port CanaveralJetty Park, in Cape Canaveral, is a 35-acre beach park that is adjacent to Port Canaveral. There are designated areas for swimming, surfing, fishing, picnicking, and camping. Restrooms are available, as well as an air-conditioned refreshment center and a bait & tackle shop. Beach lifeguards are on duty year-round.

Jetty Park is the only park to offer specially-designed beach wheelchairs for accessing the beach and fishing pier. A nominal fee is charged for entrance.

The national Clean Beaches Council has given a thumbs up to Jetty Park with its "blue wave" cleanliness award.

Spring and Summer
