Barber Park -- Located in Orange County, Barber Park's 66 acres provides visitors with picnic areas complete with grilles, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, ball fields, basketball courts, and fishing areas. There are no admission costs and leashed pets are welcome. Barnett Park -- Barnett Park's 124 acres offers Orange County a variety of facilities. The park, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, holds two league-play softball fields, an 18-hole frisbee disc golf course, rental pavilions, picnic areas with grilles, recreational programs, tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, fishing areas, and boat ramps. Bear Creek Ball fields -- Bear Creek Ball fields' 37 acres provides multiple baseball and softball fields in addition to organized league play. The area is often a location for special community events. The ball fields are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the public and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday for leagues. Leashed pets are welcome. Bear Creek is located south of the BeeLine Expressway on South Orange Avenue adjacent to Cypress Creek High School. Bithlo Community Park -- Bithlo Community Park's 38 acres provides visitors with several Little League ball fields, covered basketball courts, picnic areas with grilles, recreational programs, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, a community center, and pavilions. Leashed pets are welcome. Blanchard Park Recreational Area -- Blanchard Park, spanning 135 acres in the Orlando area, offers many recreational programs and facilities to its visitors. The park has ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, picnic areas with grilles, equestrian trails, basketball courts, fishing areas, biking and hiking trails, skating and rollerblading areas, campsites, and sand volleyball courts. Pavilions are also available for rent. The Pavilions are available for $50 per day for up to 100 people. Leashed pets are wlecome as well. The park is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and entrance to the park is free. The park is located one-mile north of East Colonial Drive on Dean Road. Cady Way Trail -- Cady Way Trail, a 3.5-mile paved corridor which links Winter Park and Orlando, offers water fountains, sheltered rest stops and-mile markers. The trail is open from sunrise to sunset, year round. Visitors to Cady Way Trail enjoy walking, biking, and skating. Playgrounds are also found adjacent to the trail. The most popular aspect of the Cady Way Trail is the public swimming pool that marks the end of the trail. The pool is open 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. There is a $3 entrance fee into the swimming area. Clarcona Horseman's Park -- Clarcona Horseman's Park is an outstanding 40-acre public equestrian park offering show rings with bleacher seating, judging towers and horse stalls. The park is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The park also provides picnic areas with grilles and leashed pets are welcome. The facilities may be rented for $150 per day. This provides use of the main ring, bleacher seating, judging towers, and timers. Additional rings can be rented for $50 per day or $15 per hour. Additional rings of any size can be set up for $100 per day. There is no charge for admission to the pack. Stall rentals are available for $15 to the public or $7.50 for youth organizations. Cypress Grove Park -- Cypress Grove Park, located one-quarter-mile west of Orange Avenue on Holden Avenue, provides visitors with 3 multi-use ball fields, basketball courts, picnic areas with grilles, playgrounds, volleyball courts, and recreational programs. Cypress Grove features a renovated 1925 estate house, which can be reserved for weddings, meetings, receptions or special events, and a lakeside gazebo. Fort Christmas Park -- Fort Christmas Park offers 25 acres of recreational facilities, with ball fields, basketball courts, picnic areas with grilles, rental pavilions, tennis courts, and volleyball courts. The park features a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Seminole Indian War, traditional Florida "cracker" houses, a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment. The area is open to the public from 10 p.m. 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 p.m. 5 p.m. on Sunday. The museum is closed on Mondays and holidays. The park is located two miles north of East Colonial Road on County Highway 420 (Fort Christmas Road). Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex -- Fort Gatlin offers 7 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with a tennis center, an olympic-sized swimming pool, playgrounds, recreational programs, rental facilities, and picnic areas with grilles. The facility provides after-school and summer beginning tennis programs for children 3 to 16 years of age. The tennis programs are provided for $20 per after-school session and $70 per week for summer programs. Entry into the swimming area is $2 for adults and $1 for children and senior citizens. Tennis courts are available for use for $1.50 during the day per person and $2.50 during the night per person. The area is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The pool is open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hal Scott Preserve -- Hal Scott Preserve offers 9000 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with miles of trails through unspoiled sanctuaries for hiking against the scenic shoreline of the Econlockhatchee River. Howell Branch Nature Preserve -- Howell Branch Nature Preserve offers 52 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with hiking trails through the natural wetlands, and educational displays explaining the park's unique water reclamation process. Pets on leashes are welcome. Kelly Park/Rock Springs -- Kelly Park offers 245 acres of recreational facilities. The park features a free-flowing natural spring. The area is open to the public from 9 a.m. To 7 p.m. during the summer and 8 a.m. To 6 p.m. during the winter. Lake Cane - Marsha Park -- Lake Cane offers 111 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with 13 tennis courts with a tennis pro shop, volleyball courts, ball fields, basketball courts, fishing areas, recreational programs, hiking trails, picnic areas with grilles, and pavilions for rent. Little Econ Greenway -- Little Econ Greenway offers 4 miles of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with riverside picnic areas with grilles, equestrian trails, canoe trails, biking trails, and hiking trails. The Little Econ Greenway will span, after construction is completed, from the University of Central Florida to Cady Way Trail, then to the Cross Seminole Trail System, through the city of Oviedo, and back to Blanchard Park. The park provides visitors with a newly renovated campground, picnic areas with grilles, playgrounds, fishing areas, hiking trails, volleyball courts, RV campsites, pavilions, and a boat ramp. The pavilions may be reserved for $50 per day for up to 100 people. The campgrounds vary in price from $8-$18. The area is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m. during the summer and 8 a.m. To 6 p.m. during the winter. The park is located on County Highway 437 adjacent to Lake Apopka. Marks Street Senior Recreation Center -- The Marks Street Senior Recreation Center offers a variety of senior activities and group events. The Complex also rents facilities to the public. The rental fees may be anywhere from $10 per hour to $120 per hour depending on the size of the facility. The area is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Moss Park -- Moss Park offers 1,551 acres of recreational facilities. The area is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m. Admission is $1 per person. Campsites are $10 for Orange County Residents and $15 for the general public. There are discounts for Senior Citizens. Orlo Vista Park -- Orlo Vista Park offers 26 acres of recreational facilities. Pavilions may be reserved for $25 per day for up to 50 people or $50 per day for up to 100 people. The assembly room is available at $50/hr with a $50 deposit, and is avialable for a maximum of 4 hours. R.D. Keene Park and Boat Ramp -- RD Keene Park provides visitors with accommodations for 49 vehicles and trailers. Located on Lake Isleworth, RD Keene boat ramp offers public access to the beautiful Butler Chain of lakes. User fees are $5 per day for vehicles with trailers. Vehicles and non-motorized watercrafts are free. Annual passes are available for $150. The park will be closed whenever water levels are low. The area is open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Roosevelt Nichols Park -- Roosevelt Nichols Park offers 6.32 acres of recreational facilities. Tibet-Bulter Preserve -- Tibet-Butler Preserve offers 440 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with hiking trails and recreations programs. The Preserve houses the Vera Carter Environmental Center which provides a variety of exhibits and displays on the ecosystems and habitats found within the preserve. Trail guide maps are also available for visitors, and allow visitors to conduct self-guided tours. The area is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, and there is no charge for admission. Trimble Park -- Trimble Park offers 71 acres of recreational facilities. The park provides visitors with three picnic pavilions, recreation programs, skating, hiking and biking trails, fishing areas, playgrounds, campsites, RV camping areas, and a boat ramp. The campsites are $13 per night for Orange County residents and $18 a night for nonresidents. The small pavilions can be rented for $25 per day for up to 50 people. The large pavilions, accommodating up to 100 guests may be reserved for $50 per day. The soccer fields are available for an hourly rental fee of $10. Pavillion rental charge is $50 per day. One field is lighted for evening play, and can be rented at $6 per hour.
