Red Bug Lake Park
Red Bug Lake Park, located 2 miles east of State Road 436 on Red Bug Lake Road with 60-acres of fishing, playgrounds and more.
Big Tree Park -- This park is located on the beautifully shaded General Hutchinson Parkway between U.S. 17-92 and State Road 427 north of Longwood. The park is a step back into time. You will see natural vegetation and marsh lands as you make your way on the boardwalk to "The Senator", the park's main attraction - a 3,500-year-old Bald Cypress. This is recognized as Florida's "Big Tree". This property was donated to Seminole County by Senator M.O. Overstreet and dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1929. Picnic tables and restroom facilities are available in the front of the park. This is an 11-acre park that is open from daylight to 10p.m. daily, and there is no charge for admission. Bookertown Park -- This is a 4-acre neighborhood park located off State Road 46 west of Sanford on Richard Allen street, serving the local community. This park has a large pavilion, a basketball court, a modular playground and a ball field. The park hours are from daylight to 10:00 p.m. daily, and there is no charge for admission. Cameron Wight Park -- This is a 3-acre park used as a boat launching facility into the beautiful St. Johns river basin. It is located 5 miles east of US 17-92 on State Road 46 at the Lake Jesup Bridge. This park is open daily from sunrise until 10p.m., and the boat ramp is open 24 hours. C.S. Lee Park -- This is a 3-acre park used as a boat launching facility into the beautiful St. Johns river basin. It is located 15 miles east of US 17-92 on State Road 46 just before crossing the Seminole County Line. This park is open from sunrise until 10p.m., and there is no charge for admission. Greenwood Lakes Park -- This is a beautiful 14-acre park located near Lake Mary High School off Longwood/Lake Mary Road on Greenway Boulevard. This park was developed in 1990 with a playground, tot lot, restrooms, pavilion, jogging trail, volleyball courts, ball field, lighted tennis courts, lighted roller hockey rink, and paved parking lot. Jamestown Park -- This is a 1-acre park located south of Oviedo in the Jamestown community. This park consists of a basketball court with lights, playground and pavilion. Lake Jessup Park -- This 6-acre park is primarily used as a boat launching facility into Lake Jesup, a 10,011-acre lake. This park is located 4 miles south of State Road 46 at the end of South Sanford Avenue. There is a pavilion and paved parking available under shade from the many oak trees. Lake Mills Park -- This is a 50-acre park located on Third Street north of Lake Mills Road in Southwest Seminole County near Chuluota. Lake Mills offers a unique up-close look at a mixed hardwood swamp. You'll also find highlands thick with oak and pine at Lake Mills. It's an extraordinary opportunity to see the wide range of the real, natural Florida. Pavilions are invitingly located under the shade of 150 year old oak trees. The park also features an amphitheater. There are places for camping, cookouts, jogging, and fishing from boardwalks. There is even a playground with a tot lot for the youngsters to enjoy. Campsites are available for $5 per night. Group campsites, which are larger, are available for $20 per night. This park is open 363 days a year and is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The park is open from sunrise to 10 p.m., and there is no charge for admission.

Lake Monroe Park -- This is a 3.5-acre park used as a boat launching facility into Lake Monroe, a 9,406-acre lake, and the St. Johns River basin. This park is located 1-mile north of Interstate 4 on State Road 17-92 on the St. Johns River. This park has pavilions and a historical bridge used as a fishing pier. Little Big Econ Canoe Launch -- This park is located at the 419 bridge on the Little Econ River. It is designed solely as a canoe launch area. This site does include parking. Midway Park -- This 2-acre park is located east of Sanford off State Road 46 in the Midway Community. This park consists of a small community center building, basketball court, pavilion, and playground with paved parking. It is open from sunrise to 10 p.m. daily, and there is no charge for admission. Mullet Lake Park -- This park is a 151-acre park associated with a 631-acre lake known as Mullet Lake. It is located east of Sanford on State Road 46 on Mullet Lake Road. There is a restroom and pavilion available for public use along with fishing and camping at this park. Boats can be launched from here into the St. Johns River basin. A campsite is $5 per night. Red Bug Lake Park

Red Bug Lake Park -- This park is located 2 miles east of State Road 436 on Red Bug Lake Road. It is a 60-acre park adjacent to the 28-acre Red Bug Lake. Red Bug Lake Park offers picnicking, playgrounds, fishing, boating (hand carried only), tennis, racquetball, wallyball, basketball, sand volleyball, softball, flag football/soccer, jogging/walking exercise trail, and pavilion rentals. Restrooms are available throughout the park. Tennis programs for beginner through advanced for youth and adult. Adult softball leagues for men and women are also available with 10 week Spring, Summer and Winter Leagues offered. Community groups using Red Bug Lake Park run soccer and flag football programs. The park personnel will be more than happy to assist in directing you to your sport of interest. The park hours are sunrise to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week, 363 days a year. Roseland Park -- This is a 1-acre park located east of Sanford in the Roseland community. From Sanford, go east on Celery Ave., right on S. Sumerlin Ave., left onto First Dr., and right onto Roseberry Lane. This park consists of a basketball court with lights and a pavilion. Sanlando Park
Sanlando Park, located off Douglas Ave, hs 40-acres of passive and active activities.
Sanlando Park -- This park in located off Douglas Avenue at the end of West Highland Street in the City of Altamonte Springs. This is a 40-acre park that offers passive and active recreation opportunities. There is picnicking, a playground, and pavilions for passive recreation seekers. There is also tennis, racquetball, wallyball, basketball, sand volleyball, and jogging/walking exercise trails for those looking for active recreation. Tennis programs for beginner through the advanced tournament player are offered for youth and adult. There are 25 tennis courts with numerous Tennis Tournaments running throughout the year. There is a $2 charge for court useage before 5 p.m., and $4 after 5 p.m. There are also 8 racketball courses, carrying a $4/hr charge for court useage. The park hours are sunrise to 10 p.m. seven days a week. The park is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. For more information, call (407) 869-5966.

Softball Complex - Seminole County -- This park is located off Douglas Avenue at the end of West North Street in the city of Altamonte Springs. This is a 38-acre park with its primary feature being five softball fields. All fields have 305-foot fence distances with ten-foot high fencing around all fields. The complex has a wagon wheel design with a three story building as the hub. The building has concession, restrooms, offices and meeting room space on the second floor. There are score keeping areas with the park's administrative offices on the third floor. This facility has been open since July 1993 and has hosted three ASA National softball tournaments, One Senior World Series Softball Tournament several regional and other area tournaments. Approximately 300 local adult softball league teams play annually at this facility. The Leagues offered range from Men's seniors to Co-Ed to Women's Fast Pitch. Visitors are allowed to practice on the fields at a charge of $10/hr before 5 p.m. and $20/hr after 5 p.m. The complex is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more softball information, call (407) 788-0609.

Solider's Creek Park -- This is a 315-acre park adjacent to Spring Hammock Preserve 1-mile east of US Road 17-92 on State Road 419. This park has ball fields and soccer fields. Currently the ball fields are used by community groups for youth boys' baseball and youth girls' softball. Park hours are from sunrise to 10 p.m. but can vary depending on scheduled events. Sunland Park -- This is a 15-acre park located 1/2-mile south of Lake Mary Boulevard on US 17-92. There is a ball field, tennis & basketball court and playground available for public use. Sylvan Lake Park -- This park is located 5 miles West of I-4 off State Road 46 on Lake Markham Road. This is a 126-acre park with a 188-acre lake adjacent to the park known as Sylvan Lake. Sylvan has become a soccer lover's delight, with a sport training facility and 6 soccer fields. This site has been a host to many national and international soccer teams - most notably the United States Women's soccer team. Along with the excitement that is brought about with soccer, this park offers passive activities such as picnicking, playgrounds, fishing, boating (hand carried only), pavilions, and sight-seeing from elevated boardwalks throughout the park. For more active recreation, tennis, wallyball, racquetball, sand volleyball, football, soccer, and an exercise and jogging trail is available. All this is incorporated in a truly rustic Florida setting. Pavillions are available for rental, and are available in large or small sizes. The rental fee for a large pavillion is $80 for a full day, and $40 for a half day. The rental charge for a small pavillion is $40 for a full day, and $20 for a half day. Yes, there are even tennis lessons for adults and youth taught at Sylvan Lake Park. The park hours are from sunrise to 10 p.m. The park is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Winwood Park -- This is a 4-acre park located just north of State Road 436 and County Road 427 on Morse Avenue for residents in unincorporated Altamonte Springs. A community center run by the Boys Club is adjacent to the park. There is a ball field, basketball court, playground, and pavilion available.
